ACADEMIC YEAR: The academic of GSL commences in April every year.
UNIFORM: GSL pays full attention on the uniform and dress code strictly. As a proper well
dressed, neat and clean student is an icon of the school, students may be fined for any carelessness regarding the school uniform.
EXAMINATION & TESTS: Annual examination is held once in every year but tests are held on regular basis.
ATTENDANCE & ABSENCE: Regular attendance is an important requirement for success. If a leave is required by the student a written application must be submitted well in advance. In case of illness or
unforeseen circumstances, the guardian should inform the principal in writing as soon as possible. No
student can leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission Of the Principal which may be granted under exceptional circumstances based on the written request by the parents/guardian.
PARENTS’ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Parents are required to look into their child’s school diary daily and ensure that the lessons and the
homework assigned is done regularly.
Parents are not allowed to meet their children or their teachers during school hours without prior
permission of the principal.
Parents are requested to send their children to the school well in time.
Please ensure that your child takes part in all the activities of the school.
PARENTS – TEACHERS MEETING: Parents-Teachers meetings are organizes periodically in order to discuss child’s welfare, and child’s progress towards education etc. Parents are encouraged to attend such meetings.
INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION: Individual attention is paid to every student. Habit formation, hobby
development, physical fitness, and good handwriting are taken care for and worked out.
PAYMENT OF SCHOOL DUES:
Fee is charged for 12 months as per the fee chart available in the office.
Fee will be deposited quarterly i.e. in four installments in the month April, July, October, January.
Fee should be paid by the of the first month of the quarter. Late fee@Rs.10/- per day from 11 of
the first month of the quarter will be charged.
